No Win No Fee Agreements Explained

Since the year 2000, Legal Aid from the government is no longer available for personal injury compensation claims other than cases of industrial diseases.

As you might have seen advertised on television, on radio or online, most claims can now be funded under a "No Win No Fee" scheme, also called a conditional fee agreement. Under those terms, your solicitor will take on your claim knowing that if they do not win, they would not get paid.

The terms of no win no fee agreements can vary greatly from company to compeany and it is important that you study these carefully and that you demand of your solicitor that the agreement be explained in the simplest possible terms.

Asking you to personally fund your personal injury compensation claim would be adding insult to injury. Accident Compensation 4 U's No Win No Fee agreement ensures that you can submit a claim without the fear of being left worse off at some point in the future. By removing the risk to you of having to bear the costs of your claim means you will be able to enjoy the whole of your compensation, without hidden costs or charges.

How the Accident Compensation 4 U No Win No fee Agreement Works

Based on your circumstances, you might have different options when looking to fund your claim. Your solicitor will help you evaluate which might be the best for you and they will let you know whether they are able to be instructed on a No Win No Fee basis.

Your solicitor will, once instructed, take out After-the-Event insurance. This is a cost to your solicitor, NEVER to you. The insurance premium will NOT be passed on to you, whether your claim succeeds or not.

Whether settled in or out of court, and whether successful or not, your solicitor will always bear the costs and expenses of your claim and negotiate settlement of these costs separately. This ensures that your compensation, should you win, will not be affected while you will have to pay nothing should your claim be unsuccessful as your solicitor costs will be written-off and the After-the-Event insurance will cover the other party's legal expenses.

What this means is that WIN OR LOOSE, you will never have to pay anything. For more information, contact us for a free assessment of your claim. After recording details of your accident and circumstances, Accident Compensation 4 U will refer your case to a Forum Law solicitor who will then be able to advise you on your funding options and explain at length the terms of our No Win No Fee agreement.
